Chinese-American groups give holiday food, blankets, hoodies and thermal cups to needy in Riverside

The Inland Chinese-American Alliance and National Council of Chinese Americans/Southern California Council Of Chinese Americans gave out a hot meal as well as boxed leftovers to homeless or needy people Saturday, Dec. 22.

They gathered 200 hoodies, 125 blankets and 125 thermal cups, plus clothes that were donated from community members to give to the homeless, said Karen Cheng, president of Inland Chinese-American Alliance.
